OC - Shanon Koneko
That surname is intentional
Age: 17
Basic description: Shanon is in the same school as Yuki, Hatsuharu, Momiji and Kyo Sohma. She's got a great interest in Kyo Sohma, she doesn't care about Yuki at all. She is also interested in Hatsuharu Sohma (but I think it's more to do with his hair and jewelry!). She adores rock music and anything out of the ordinary. She has long brown hair in a ponytail (when untied it reaches her waist) and blue eyes. She's also pale skinned and wears a mood ring on her left hand, fourth finger and a charm bracelet. She's also superstitious.

Momiji Sohma
Age: 15
Basic description: Momiji is half German, half Japanese with a tendency to speak in German. He is the younger cousin of Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure Sohma. Although Momiji acts kind, he has a terrible secret about his mother. He vows that he'll always keep all of his memories no matter how bad or good, because he knows that someday, he'll be able to overlook the pain and be able to remember. Momiji is cursed with the spirit of the rabbit. Because of this, his mother hated him and so Hatori had to erase her mind. Momiji then watches her and his little sister, Momo, from afar but his father forbid him to let them see him.

Kyo Sohma
Age: 17
Basic description: Kyo is the orange haired cousin of Yuki, Shigure and Momiji, and is the cursed cat of the Zodiac. As such, he must always wear his Juzu beads to prevent him from transforming into the cat's true form. He now lives with his cousins Shigure and Yuki after spending 4 months training in the mountains, and goes to the same school as Yuki. He is always fighting with Yuki and shifts the blame to him for all his problems. He also made a bet with Akito that if he could beat the rat then he would officially become a member of the Zodiac and wouldn't have to be locked away for the rest of his life. Kyo is usually short tempered, impulsive and rude, but that is only one side of his complex character. He doesn't like to show his feelings and is very protective of those he cares for. He also has a strong dislike for leeks, the smell and taste make him feel sick.

Hatsuharu Sohma
Age: 16
Basic description: Often known as 'Haru' by his friends and family, Hatsuharu is the cursed ox. He transforms into a black and white cow, so his hair is naturally white with black roots. Haru is usually calm and very laid back, but he has a split personality and can become extremely violent and aggressive. This side of his personality is known as his 'black' side, which developed due to his reputation in the family as being somewhat 'stupid'. He cares very much for Yuki after he made him realise this mental trap, and like Kyo is also very protective of those he cares about. He doesn't get along with Kyo very well and they occasionally fight.

Rin Sohma (Not Isuzu, but I dislike most other Japanese names xD)
Age: 17
Basic description: Rin is a more distant relative of most of the Zodiacs, but she bears a striking resemblance to Isuzu, especially as they have similar styles. Her hair is thicker and slightly shorter than Isuzu's, but black nonetheless. Her pale blue eyes are the main distinctive feature which distinguishes between the two, as well as her shorter stature. She is somewhat similar in personality, but is a lot quieter and even less trusting of people. While she usually remains cold and callous, she cares deeply for her friends, and can be quite aggressive when provoked. She is training in martial arts (no where near as good as the others) and has recently transferred to the same high school, but has never met the Zodiac members as she is an 'outsider' and goes to a different Dojo. She isn't even aware of the curse.

The alarm clocked beeped 3 short, piercing cries that made Shanon stir from her slumber. It wasn't fair that she had to get up, she didn't really like school and she had been having such a nice dream. She rolled out of bed, fell onto the floor, straightened up and shuffled into the bathroom. She emerged 10 minutes later with her face washed, her still damp hair combed and pulled back into a ponytail and her teeth cleaned so hard, they practically gleamed. She dressed in her regular school uniform adding some badges to the waist of her skirt and untucking her shirt.
Maybe she should do something different with her hair? No, she was going to get edgier each week, just to be cool enough to talk to that orange-haired kid. She'd said "hi" to him once, but he hadn't responded.
She ran out of the house, just grabbing a piece of toast from the toaster and to school to wait by the doors for her friends...or that boy.

He hated this. Why did he have to live with Shigure and that stupid rat? Why did he even have to go to the same school as him? It was all that damn Shigure's fault. Kyo clenched his teeth in annoyance as he stared hard up at the sky, currently reclining on the roof and late for school. Not to mention all those girls who just wouldn't leave him alone. Why would Yuki want to be anywhere near them when he knew the risks? Ah, who cares about that stupid rat.

Begrudgingly, the orange haired boy grabbed the school bag beside him and slung it over his shoulder as he stood up, hoping he wouldn't see Momiji today either. That boy was so immature, and wearing a girl's uniform? It was embarrassing being related to him. Kyo casually jumped down from the roof, landing on his feet gracefully - just like a cat - and set off towards school.

When he got there, not only did he find a certain white haired boy standing at the gates, clinging to Yuki but he actually wasn't late. Yuki must've left earlier than usual; probably something to do with that student council thing, whatever it was. Much to Kyo's annoyance, the taller boy tilted his head and caught sight of him, but that blank expression remained. You could never tell whether he was going to spout out something completely random or turn black when Haru looked like that, and it unnerved him. Kyo was just thankful that whiny rabbit wasn't there. Yet, anyway.

Since he had no where else to go, and no other 'friends', Kyo reluctantly stood with Haru and Yuki, mindful to keep his distance. Somehow he could feel an argument coming.

Momiji raced to the school gate, a jar held firmly in his hands and a huge smile on his face. He noticed the three boys at the gate and skipped up to them. "Look!" he cried, shoving the jar under Hatsuharu's nose, "I caught a butterfly! It's so pretty!!"
Catching the glare from Kyo, he turned away from the older boy and looked back at the red butterfly he'd caught earlier that morning. "Ich liebe mein Schmetterling."
His brown eyes looked back up to Hatsuharu who looked bored and was showing next to no interest.

Shanon looked at the boys near the gate, keeping her eyes on Kyo Sohma. It was then she noticed the other boy standing next to him, the one with the black and white hair. Even though she was standing away from them she could still see that this boy had a bit of a bad boy image going on. This wasn't good for her, she had a thing for bad boys which was how she'd found herself attracted to Kyo in the first place.
"Come on Rin!" she muttered to herself impatiently, she didn't want to spend another second looking at these boys. She just wished Rin would hurry up so she wouldn't be standing here alone.
